What would you like to see in this blog?

I have been thinking for awhile about opening up this blog and finally got down to setting it up.

The reason that I wanted to start this is for the squash fan.  I want them to be able to see what the life of Professional Squash Player really is all about. Many people just see the matches and the results but I want the casual fan to see and hear the things that aren't talked about. I want them to be able to feel like they are right there with the players.

This site is more of a behind the scenes look at a squash player. The highs, the lows, the triumphs, and the devastations. I am hoping to get thoughts from all the players and thus bring issues to you the fans.

Hope you enjoy the blog and any questions that you want answered on here please feel free to ask.

  1. This is a fantastic idea. I am a massive squash fan but I can only find videos of matches. To me, professional squash players feel like super humans, they sprint on court on and on, it's almost unbelievable that they are human!

But as you pointed out in the post, I guess there is more than just super human performance on court. And it would be great to get a better picture of pro squash players life.

  2. Let me know what subjects you would like to see and we can put something up about it. This site is for the squash fan and im hoping that the fans bring up the topics for the site. All the best

  3. Brilliant concept for a site. One thing that I would love to see is a tip from a pro about what would constitute a good 40 minute solo session for those of us who are very keen but will never be pros for one reason or another i.e. have limited time due to work commitments etc.

  4. Mainser-

No problem. Will get right to it.
